As an established hypnotist and NLP Professional I sometimes get asked to review material from others. I dont do it very often but this is one of lifes exceptions.

My publishing team begged me to review this particular course and so this I have done to the best of my abilities. I could forsee problems from those who I had turned down in the past – but what the heck – when my publisher asks me to do something, its really an order dressed up lol.

My Publishing team was engaged in finding material and reviewing what was available online and it is for this reason that they asked me to look at this course. They had heard very good things about it and they wanted to check that it was all that people were saying it to be.

So, it was with this background that I began my review of this new course.

Well, I have reviewed this course and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of it and I found some difficulty in coming up with suggestions as to how the material could be improved and so I decided that this guy ought to have his read by anyone who was looking to learn hypnosis in a way that would maximise their experience. So this article is designed to simply let you know what my experience was and to give you my thoughts as a very experienced hypnosis professional to help you choose the best way for you to get into a trance experience.

When I opened the site was happy that the sales letter was short – I just cannot stand long sales letters and I only scroll down to the bottom of the page when I find them. The site and the course had been written by John Hill and I had to admit he was giving away a pile of free gifts which looked to be of real use. I normally find that free gifts are useless but in this case they looked relevant and I thought that some people might be inclined to buy it just for these free bits. I found that to be quite refreshing.

John Hill is the author of both the book and I suppose the site and he seems like a very accomplished Hypnotherapist and NLP Professional and this was a good sign.

The testimonials on the site looked real and I sent him a message asking to see a copy of these, by return email. It took a day but I could see that they were in fact true original testimonials and that is always a positive sign for me.

NLP had clearly had an impact on John’s life – it shone through in his sales letter and I concurred with this. It was clear that he was a true professional and he knew his subject well.

It seemed that John Hill was pitching his course at both beginners and existing professionals – now this is not easy to do as the two sets of people are at different ends of the experience spectrum – “this would be interesting” I thought.

I saw that John had a 100% product guarantee – now this is a very good sign. It told me that he was /confident that his product would do what he as claiming otherwise he would not earn a cent from his efforts. I do like that.

Anyway, then came the crunch – I decided to purchase the product and take it for a test drive. Well, I just could not believe this aspect of it folks. I bought the book and it cost me $57.00. I could not believe the price tag – I have bought many courses on hypnosis in the past but the lowest I ever paid for a course of this nature was much higher than this – but I wanted to look at the product – after all it may be rubbish and so this price could be expensive.

It was downloaded to me quickly and in PDF format (this stands for Protected Document Format ) – sorry for this lapse, if you didnt know what pdf meant then it probably means that you are Robinson Crusoe or something.

The first thing that hit me was how well the book was laid out. it has 110 pages and is split into 15 very well thought out chapters. Even the History of Hypnosis was covered. Nice ! There were specific directions into several of the most common interventions and that is not normally covered in a book of this cost.

One area that pleased me also was the standard and relevance of the pictures and illustrations. As I progressed through the course, I experienced a complete shock – I came to the reference of ‘Hypno Sleep’. Now I knew that this was a very little known hypnotherpy secret which was invented many years ago by a famous hypnotherpist and clinical doctor – Dave Elman. This is a real gem and the book price is worth it for this element alone – try asking an established Hypnotherpist to see if he knows the name Hypno Sleep – not many do.

It took me a few hours to go through the whole book and overall I found it very well researched, beautifully illustrated and put forward in an easy to understand manner. In the interests of providing some balance to this review, I must admit that there is a negative element to my findings of this hypnotherapy course.

The only subject which I thought needed changing was the price. Now I know that many people would be happy to pay only $57 for such a manual but I also know that many people value something relative to what they have paid for it. I myself sell courses which are all over $1,000 and I have sold many of them, so I know my subject.

I had thought on asking John Hill to allow me to sell this product to my own customers but I would not even attempt it at this price. It is therefore my intention to conact the author and ask him to increase his price to something more respectable.

So you have it there – I thoroughly recommend that anyone wishing either get into Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy or if you are already a professional but you want to review some material – you can’t go wrong by purchasing this book whatever its price is.

Well done John Hill on producing a really sound and conscientious introduction into the wonderful world of learning hypnosis. This book is destined to be a best seller and long may it remain on the top of the list.
